Replacement Head Unit

Most people who care about the quality of the sound will want to change the head-unit to one which has a higher quality built-in amplifier and support for either CD's or Mini-Disks, or both.

If you are splashing out and going for a new head-unit, you may wish to consider upgrading your speakers at the same time to get the most from your new higher power built-in amplifier.

CD Changer Upgrades

Clarion CD Changer

Most people want to at least upgrade their car stereo to use compact disks, so their are two options. Firstly, a CD Changer can be added to the existing system, or you may opt to upgrade the head-unit.

Some models come with head units with built-in CD changer controls, so if this is the case then the CD Changer, as made by Clarion, is available for £160 (inc VAT and delivery) from CAD.
